Lance Harwell and Michael Maldonado recently participated in the Law Day for Scouts hosted at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law where they helped the participating Scouts earn their Law Merit Badge by discussing the origins and purpose of the law, traditional and nontraditional legal career paths, and the functions of law in society. The highlight of the day was when the Scouts participated in their own mock jury trial (the defendant was not guilty!). Special thanks to those who helped to organize and host the event, as well as the other panelists who provided great insight and discussion to the young men who participated.
