Staines, Eppling & Kenney is pleased to announce that Claire E. Padilla has joined the firm as an Associate Attorney.

Claire first joined Staines, Eppling & Kenney as a Summer Law Clerk in 2024 and returned to the firm as an Associate Attorney in 2026.
A New Orleans native, Claire earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from Louisiana State University in 2022 and her Juris Doctor, Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, and Certificate in Estate Planning and Taxation from the LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2025. While in law school, she was a founding member and Outreach Chair of the FirstGen Legal Society.
Claire was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in October 2025 and is admitted before all Louisiana state courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. She is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Federal Bar Association, and the New Orleans Bar Association, where she serves on the Young Lawyers Division’s Bar & Grille Committee.
Claire's practice will focus on all aspects of maritime and general casualty litigation, including personal injury, property damage, insurance coverage, and contract review.
