Hobbies and Interests
In his free time, Jackson enjoys being active in all ways, especially weightlifting and running, and enjoys cooking for friends and family. He also volunteers with Hogs for the Cause as a member of his family’s competition team in support of fundraising efforts for pediatric brain cancer treatment.
Jackson C. Vicknair was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. For undergraduate studies, Jackson attended Louisiana State University's Ogden Honors College, where he graduated in 2022 with three Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science, History, and Creative Writing, earning highest distinctions of summa cum laude and College Honors. Jackson then graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law in 2025, where he served on the board of the Journal of Corporation Law as a Note & Comment Editor and as coordinator of the Roy L. Stephenson Trial Advocacy Competition.
