Hobbies and Interests
In his free time, Evan enjoys spending time with his family, watching ice hockey and reading. He also volunteers with the local food bank.
Evan D. Young was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. He attained the rank of Eagle Scout and would later attend James Madison University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Foreign Language, with a concentration in Italian. During university, Evan had the opportunity to volunteer in Nicaragua and also to study abroad at Reggio Di Cabriia in Italy. After obtaining his degree, Evan taught English as a foreign language in Santiago, Chile. He became a level one sommelier and spent several years brokering wine to small market retailers. He then graduated from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where he was a semi-finalist in the Tullis Moot Court Competition and a Quarterfinalist in the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition.
